Only eight months after implantation of the CMI, I have fully regained the use of my knee and I am again running 3 to 6 miles daily.

Are You a Surgeon?

Menaflex™ collagen meniscus implant (formerly CMI®) is a resorbable collagen-based surgical mesh composed primarily of type I collagen.  It serves to reinforce damaged or weakened tissue and provides a resorbable scaffold for replacement by the patient’s own tissue.

The Menaflex collagen scaffold is intended for use in patients with an irreparable meniscus tear or loss of meniscus tissue.

The product was developed and is currently manufactured and marketed by ReGen Biologics, Inc.  More detailed information on the company and its products can be found at www.regenbio.com.
